Privacy Privacy Policy

This describes what WavX Solutions collects, why, how long it is kept and how to have it removed. It is written from what this site actually does rather than from a template, so it is specific — and if something here is wrong, tell us and we will correct both the page and the behaviour.

Who we are

WavX Solutions is a custom software development company founded in 2022 , operating from Gurgaon, Haryana, India, and working remotely with clients in India and abroad. For anything in this policy, write to helpwavx@gmail.com . We are the data fiduciary for the information described below.

What you send us deliberately

The contact and quote forms ask for your name, email address, phone number , the service you are interested in, an optional budget band, and your message. You type it, so nothing here is a surprise — but it is worth being precise about what happens next.

Those details are stored in our Firestore database and emailed to us so we can reply. They are used to answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to run the project. We do not sell them, rent them, or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.

Alongside the form we record how you arrived: UTM parameters, Google and Meta click identifiers (gclid, fbclid), the referring page and the page you landed on. That tells us which of our own pages actually helps people, and nothing about you personally beyond the route you took.

What is measured while you read

Three systems run on this site, and they do different things.

Our own analytics. We record page views, how far down a page you scroll, how long you stay engaged, clicks on calls-to-action and outbound links, and whether a form was started, submitted or rejected. This is first-party — it goes to our own server and stays there. It is not tied to your name unless you also send us a form.

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity . Both are third-party and both set cookies. Clarity can record how a page was used — scrolling, clicks and mouse movement — so that we can see where a layout confuses people. Their own privacy terms govern what they do with it.

Answer-engine referrals. When a visitor arrives from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Grok or a similar assistant, the page path and the referring service are reported to Citable, a third-party service we use to measure how often AI answers send people here. This fires only for arrivals from those services; ordinary visits are not reported.

AI crawlers

We deliberately allow AI crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot to read this site, and we serve them a stripped-down version of each page. That is about our content being quotable, not about you: no visitor data is involved, and nothing you submit is ever passed to a crawler or used to train a model.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are talking to you and for up to 24 months afterwards, because a project discussed once often comes back. Analytics events are kept for up to 14 months . Client project records are kept longer where Indian tax and accounting law requires it.

Your rights, and how to use them

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent you gave earlier. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights.

There is no form for this and no account to log into. Email helpwavx@gmail.com and say what you want done. We will act within 30 days and confirm when it is done. Deletion means deletion — not flagged as hidden.

Cookies

We set no advertising cookies of our own. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own, and your browser can block or clear them at any time. Blocking them makes our numbers less accurate and changes nothing about how the site works for you.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and infrastructure providers (Vercel, Google Cloud and Firebase), the analytics services named above, and Citable for answer-engine referrals. That is the complete list. We do not sell personal data to anyone, and there is no arrangement under which a third party may use it for their own marketing.

Children

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, write to us and it will be deleted.

Changes

When the site starts or stops collecting something, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. A policy that has not changed while the site has is a policy that is lying.
